Last year Lucan festival bought cinema back to Lucan for the first time in more than three decades with the visit of Cinemobile to Superquinn Centre. With the success of last year we have invited them back for two days this year Friday 23rd and Saturday 24^th of September.

Cinemobile is a large truck which transforms into a 100 seater state of the art cinema, fully heated, air conditioned and with Dolby Surround Sound. Mobile cinemas have been in existence in France for over 20 years. This particular truck was built in France 2001 and Cinemobile has now been touring Ireland since, mobile cinemas also operate in Scotland and Eastern Europe.

On arrival in Lucan when it is parked up, this truck goes through a magical transformation in 45 minutes unfolding to become a fully operational cinema, ready to entertain the resident of Lucan.

We need your help deciding what films we should choose for your entertainment. We will be showing kids movies in the morning last year with one of those shows including a McDonalds meal voucher included in the price. There is a fee for all screenings and booking of all movies is essential, details will follow later.
